Who we are

ll Vecchio Mobile is a family-run business that was founded in Palermo in the 90s, we have always sold antique furniture, fine furnishings, crystal and porcelain.

In the early 2000s, we introduced vintage bags and accessories and were among the first in Palermo to offer this type of shop, which ranged from antique bronze pieces to vintage Louis Vuitton trunks. After being in increasingly larger premises, in 2012 we decided to move to the center of Palermo, where we offered more select and refined items at the height of one of the most beautiful streets, Via Roma.

Our name, which we are so fond of, has always remained the same even though now in the shop you can find mainly luxury vintage bags, embroidered and fine linens and objects.

For many years we have been hidden from the various social networks, wanting to be vintage in that too, but unfortunately in the first period of 2020, to stay in touch with our customers, we had to be part of it.

In 2024 the website was born only for our luxury vintage designer items, to give you the opportunity to view them in the best possible way even if you are not from Palermo.

Each item is carefully checked to provide you with an authentic and guaranteed piece, it is meticulously examined and appraised before being put on sale. Therefore we do not rely in any way on third parties to authenticate our items and especially not on famous applications that do it in place of an expert eye.
This is because we strongly believe that the articles must be viewed live, touched by hand, feel that feeling that only a real quality product can give, things that today artificial intelligence or remote consultancy can in no way guarantee.

With us, you will not find items currently present in the boutique.
We are not interested in having among our proposals objects from the latest collection because we want to offer you only the true vintage and that is why our bags will have some defects, but they will always be objects with a past, a story and some little secrets to tell. And like all lived stories, stories that are often more than 25 years old or even more, sometimes tags and dust bags are something that has been lost along the way or even because often, in the past years, the bags were not provided with those accessories that accompany the current bags.

It goes without saying that the accessories that come with a bag do not guarantee in any way the real authenticity of the product, and that often, even those are counterfeited. Indeed, they can often be a warning bell on bags of a certain era.
